About our suppliers and why this White Sage is different from traditional Sage:
Our White Sage are locally and sustainably cultivated on virgin farm land in the alpine region of Victoria. Our suppliers have been organically growing and hand harvesting Grandfather Sage for the last 20 years and are well known for producing the highest quality, most aromatic White Sage grown through authentic & traditional practices. Their process of growing the Sage is a magical practice where all respect is paid and all thanks are given to the Earth and the plant itself. Our suppliers only harvest once a year so that the plants have enough time to rest and regenerate, this maintains their quality and energetic & medicinal properties. On this small farm, everything grows naturally as it should, plants are not watered from a watering system or hose, instead only rainwater or natural  running water from the stream that courses through the farm, is used. 

These Sage bundles are never artificially dried because in this process, the plant looses majority of it's medicinal properties, instead it is naturally dried and shaped over a period of time. So much care goes into this process that as a result, no cotton is required to hold the bundle together and the Sage comes to you in it's complete essence. The highest quality guaranteed and always free from pesticides, toxins and synthetics...because who wants all that nasty stuff in their space? 

What is White Sage and how to use it:
White Sage is an amazing tool for cleansing, creation, intention setting and manifestation through the practice of smudging. Smudging involves the burning of sacred herbs and resins. Sage emits negative ions and our aura holds positive ions, through the process of smudging we can neutralise our energy, space and objects. Note- there is not one way to use White Sage. We encourage free flowing, intentional use, while surrendering and allowing the sage to guide, heal and uplift you. 

Origin:
Smudging originates from a ritual practiced by some indigenous & Native American groups where Sage is burnt ceremoniously for the purposes of cleansing and blessing energy and space. (Purposes, ceremonies and substances used vary between tribes and groups.)
