Leilani helps young women struggling with anxiety and exhaustion break free from constant stress, anxiety and lack of sleep. After getting lost in the hustle of everyday life, she experienced chronic anxiety and exhaustion. While searching for alternative ways to deal with her anxiety and stress, Leilani found healing from within. Now, she is on a mission to empower women to pursue their dreams, take control of their lives, and become their best selves. She lives in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina.
Looking back, I thought that in order to feel less stressed and anxious, I had to have everything in my life figured out. But I didn't have a clue what to do. My mind would race at night thinking about my day, what I had to do tomorrow, or fixate on things that were completely out of my control. I was constantly overwhelmed and stressed to the point of exhaustion every day.
At first, I was just waiting for things to get better, jumping from job to job, thinking that changing my focus and situation would help. I was pushing through each day and suppressing my emotions until they couldn’t be ignored. It dawned on me one day that I was living my days in a constant cycle of fear and scarcity.
I realized it wasn’t just my sleep that was being affected by this but all aspects of my life -my health, relationships, even the way I talked to myself. It felt like I was carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders and I didn't know how to get out from under it. Despite my best efforts at change, I often reverted back to my old patterns.
It wasn’t until I started consciously supporting my nervous system and incorporating stress management into my daily routines, that things started to change for me. Now, my mood is better and my mind isn’t racing all the time. Not only am I sleeping better, but I also have greater mental capacity and the ability to handle anything that comes my way. I feel a calmness and am able to be present with the people that matter most in my life.
